Adults, ages 18 and up who are passionate about self care and personal growth. Those who enjoy exploring, through learning and discussion, topics related to their lives and who are committed to implementing self improvement that works for them.
The 'Sweet Spot' is a concept I've been drawn to for a long time. I think it captures - in a nutshell - the balanced, wise mind most of us who are self actualized seek to create and live within. Some might call it staying true to one's 'core' and 'being more authentic' or, just living in better flow in one's life.
In My Sweet Spot Life Club we will meet a couple times a month to discuss lessons I will assign to members. Adults who do well in the group tend to have a history of successful engagement in therapy, are emotionally 'healthy enough' (are not moderately to severely depressed and/or anxious or suffering from some other severe emotional illness) and who are comfortable interacting in a group environment. Adults in this group need support too, but are often too busy to find any other time to self reflect and recharge, perhaps because they are healers, health care professionals or in other 'people helping' careers.
Please note: this is a discussion group, not a therapy group.
We meet via a private video platform two times a month, for 90 minutes each.
"Barb's way of leading our group helped all of us grow beyond where we were before we met her".
"The loving and caring atmosphere of Barb's group helped me love myself more and now because I do, I make much better decisions for me and my life".
"What was most helpful about the group was the experience of feeling not so alone and learning from the other women. And, as a bonus, I've met a new, possibly lifelong friend in the group."
